Model Mediasi Kecerdasan Emosional dalam Hubungan antara Dukungan Akademik Orang Tua dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Vokasi

Tingginya pengangguran lulusan SMK Indonesia mengindikasikan kesenjangan kompetensi yang diperparah oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada mata pelajaran umum. Penelitian terdahulu belum mengeksplorasi secara integratif mekanisme psikologis internal yang menjembatani dukungan eksternal dengan motivasi belajar dalam konteks vokasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dukungan akademik terhadap motivasi belajar dengan kecerdasan emosional sebagai variabel intervening. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui analisis jalur dengan prosedur bootstrapping pada 544 siswa vokasi. Hasil menunjukkan dukungan akademik berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional, tetapi tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap motivasi belajar. Kecerdasan emosional terbukti sebagai mediator sempurna, mengonfirmasi bahwa dukungan akademik hanya efektif meningkatkan motivasi melalui perbaikan kondisi afektif siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya integrasi bantuan akademik dengan pengembangan kompetensi sosial-emosional untuk mengoptimalkan kesiapan kerja lulusan vokasi.
