Hubungan Resolusi Konflik dengan Kecenderungan Kekerasan Verbal pada Pelajar SMK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecenderungan kekerasan verbal serta menganalisis hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut pada pelajar Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 50 siswa yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecenderungan kekerasan verbal yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi pearson pada tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan resolusi konflik ada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan kecenderungan kekerasan verbal berada pada kategori sedang. Uji korelasi menggambarkan adanya hubungan positif yang berdampak antara kemampuan resolusi konflik dan kecenderungan kekerasan verbal ( = 0.739; ???? < 0.05). hal ini menandakan bahwa tingginya skor resolusi konflik lebih memperlihatkan adanya kontrol strategi penghindaran konflik dibandingkan kemampuan penyelesaian konflik secara konstruktif. Strategi resolusi konflik pasif tersebut berpotensi memicu penimbunan emosi yang diekspresikan dalam bentuk kekerasan verbal. Temuan ini bisa menjadi dasar penting bagi pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMK.
