Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah membawa dampak signifikan pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk di bidang pendidikan. Di era digital ini, institusi pendidikan diharapkan mampu beradaptasi dengan tuntutan zaman untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Salah satu tuntutan utama adalah kemampuan untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran serta mendorong pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital. Hal ini menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi lembaga pendidikan, khususnya sekolah Islam, untuk tetap relevan dan kompetitif. Penelitian ini mengkaji peran kepemimpinan inventif dalam mengelola program unggulan di Sekolah Islam pada era digital, dengan studi kasus di SMPIT TQ Ulil Albab, Karanganyar yang hasilnya dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi sekolah lain yang ingin melaksanakan program yang sama. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan inventif di era digital tidak hanya mendorong integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran tetapi juga meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti pemecahan masalah, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin yang inventif mampu mengembangkan visi yang jelas, memanfaatkan teknologi untuk inovasi kurikulum, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung kreativitas dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kepemimpinan inventif memiliki peran krusial dalam memastikan sekolah tetap relevan dan kompetitif di era digital.
